Zeitview is not liable for any damages to a pilot's drone or equipment in the event of a crash. Zeitview will only assess the cost of any damages incurred to the client's property.
All pilots are highly encouraged to obtain their own insurance prior to any flight. Typical insurance minimums include $1 Million in General Liability. We may ask for your Certificate of Insurance at any time.
Pilots agree to take responsibility for ensuring a safe flight upon accepting any mission and understand that they will be using their own equipment at their own risk as the pilot in command.
Pilots must ensure they are flying within a visual line of sight at all times and adjust flight paths or shot angles as necessary.
Pilots may still sign up with Zeitview without insurance and can utilize any on-demand providers. We suggest looking into those like SkyWatch, Thimble (Verifly), or DroneInsurance.com.
In the event of a drone crash, pilots will be asked to provide complete details of the events leading up to the incident. Pilots may be removed from the mission as a result with or without any payment as determined by Zeitview. Mission notifications may also be disabled temporarily while the incident is under review or pilots may be removed from all missions for that particular client as determined by Zeitview.
